Cost: $20 per student (Lunch Included)
Middle School Conductor: Dr. Patrick Lawrence (Professor of Trombone, Euphonium, and Tuba at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point)
High School Conductor: Dr. Cory Near (Assistant Professor or Music Director of Bands; Concert Band, Symphonic Band at Luther College)
Tuesday, September 9: music lists for clinicians
Sunday, September 14: Nomination Form Sent to Directors
Friday, October 3: Nomination Deadline
Monday, October 13: Music Out
Friday, November 14: Event
8:15 am - Registration, Chair seating and warm-up
8:45 am - Rehearsal: HS band in Auditorium, MS band in band room
11:30 am - MS Lunch provided outside PAC/hallways
12:15 pm - MS Rehearse on stage HS Lunch provided outside PAC/Hallways
1:00 pm - Rehearsal: HS band in band room, MS band in Auditorium
4:00 pm - change into concert attire
4:45 pm - warm up and tune MS band on Stage, HS band in Band room
5:15 pm - Concert starts - MS band performs first, HS group sits in auditorium, transition and switch to support other musicians.
Nominations must be entered on the Google form by Friday, October 3rd.
Each school will be guaranteed its first nomination. Additional information will be provided to students and directors upon acceptance. It is suggested that directors recommend 10-12 students for this band. Please make sure students do not have conflicts with that date before nomination.
