OMS Summer School Band Information

We are excited to share the schedule for our upcoming summer band programs. All incoming 6th grade band students are strongly encouraged to register for summer school and participate in both the lesson and studio programs. Please note that if a student is unable to attend the individual lessons, they are still welcome and encouraged to register for and participate in the studio classes.

Beginner Band Orientation

Date: Tuesday, June 2, 2026 At orientation, students will receive their instruments, learn how to assemble and hold them, and produce their very first sounds. Sessions are organized by instrument:

June Studio Schedule (Sectionals)

Dates: June 8 – June 25 Sectionals will meet every Tuesday and Thursday at the following times in Room 171:

June Lesson Schedule

Individual and small group lessons will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays throughout June. Please use the link below to sign your student up for a specific time slot:

August Band Camps

Dates: August 10, 11, & 12 (Monday – Wednesday) To avoid conflicts with other summer school activities (such as WEB training), these rehearsals will be held in the afternoons in Room 171:
