Karen Keil received both her Bachelor of Music Education and a Master's Degree in Education and Professional Development from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. 8th-grade band, jazz band, and lessons for grades 6, 7, and 8. Before teaching band at Onalaska Middle, Karen taught 5th-grade band district-wide. In addition to music education, Karen also holds licensure as a reading teacher from Viterbo University. From 2002 to 2011, she was a gifted and talented resource teacher at Onalaska Middle and Northern Hills Elementary. In 2012, she returned to her first love, middle school band. Karen also taught at Longfellow Middle School in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Ms. Keil is a member of the National Band Association, American School Band Directors Association, Jazz Educators Network, and Wisconsin School Music Association. Karen is a WSMA adjudicator and has also served as a clarinet coach for the La Crosse Youth Symphony. She currently plays in the La Crosse Concert Band, La Crosse Wind Ensemble and has been a substitute clarinetist in the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra.
Christopher Meunier is a music teacher in the Onalaska School District, where he instructs 6-8 band, instrumental music lessons, and general music. He also works with the high school marching band and a middle school jazz band.
Christopher earned his bachelor's degree in Music Education from Luther College in Decorah, IA, and he completed a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2022.
In his free time, Christopher enjoys spending time with his family and attempting DIY projects.
