College Kickstart is a data-driven program designed to support second-semester high school seniors who are preparing for or considering a college pathway. The program focuses on strengthening executive functioning skills, building college readiness, and helping students experience the expectations and rigor of college-level coursework.
Through collaboration between High School Transition Coordinators and Western Technical College faculty, students participate in college courses while still in high school and earn both high school and college credit. The program provides students with opportunities to build the skills, confidence, and independence needed to successfully transition to higher education.

Through a collaborative partnership between local school districts and Western Technical College, our mission is to empower students of all abilities to transition from high school to college and achieve success in their post-secondary goals.
This partnership provides students with access to college-level learning, experiences, resources and support to help them build the skills and confidence needed for continued success beyond graduation.
