How will the event be taught?
The bootcamp will be a blend of lectures and tutorials, supported by a hands-on capstone project.
What are the expected learning outcomes?
This immersive bootcamp is designed for students and researchers who are new to computational protein design. The curriculum follows the modern protein design pipeline, beginning with physics-based methods in Rosetta before moving into ML tools including structure prediction, backbone diffusion, and sequence design (e.g., RFdiffusion, ProteinMPNN). Participants will leave with a computational vocabulary, hands-on tool fluency, and a conceptual framework for applying these methods in their own research.
Is there any prep work?
Pre-readings or videos may be assigned by the course instructors.
More information about prep work and course details will be available closer to the event date.
