Vinyasa Flow yoga works by coordinating breath and movement to create a challenge for the mind body connection. These classes can move at a fast or slow pace depending upon the experience of the students.
Gentle Flow classes bring in elements of gentle yoga and Vinyasa flow. This medium paced class allows us time to focus on breath and alignment, but still provides more vigorous movement.
Restorative yoga is a style of yoga that focuses nurturing the mind and body. Poses are fully supported and held for several minutes. These classes can be calming or energizing depending upon the time of day and needs of the students. These classes are scheduled periodically. Yoga for Arthritis classes are scheduled periodically as a four to ten week series. The curriculum includes postures specially designed to help people with arthritis move safely, and can help maintain or improve mobility.
