Technological Institute of Technical Advancement Training Program

TITA Academy sponsors a rigorous hybrid and online after school training program. Divided into two different interventions. HYBRID and ONLINE PLAY educational programs. Both interventions are designed to scale up student workforce development efforts in the community.

Cohorts are scheduled 1 month in session and 1 month out of session to gather feedback and adjust environment settings. Cohorts are scheduled 3 hours per week for a total of 4 weeks. Days are determined by the training center in your area.

During each cohort. Students are being exposed to professional software to begin their apprenticeship program. Improving workforce development skills amongst young women and men. Learning professional software boosts the integrity rate at which a student can learn from a professional environment. Professional grade software may not be the easiest to interpret! Giving the student opportunity and exposure improves the chance a student has at career opportunities.

Proctors attend each cohort training programming to assist and mentor students to engage in the lesson plans provided by TITA Academy. Proctors are professional instructors who are skilled in: architecture, engineering, project management and video game design. Proctors provide basic information to help assist students complete the lesson plan on time.

HYBRID is one of the curricula designed as an on ground instructor-led training facility. On ground instruction are needed for students who need 1 on 1 interaction when learning new technical skills. 1 on 1 interaction reference careers such as: architecture, engineering, program management, and video game design. Proctors duties on ground are to assist students with on ground HYBRID lesson plans. On ground proctors interact with students 1on1 at each training facility.

On ground facilities supply all technical and software equipment for each site. Software and equipment is needed to complete all lesson plans for each Cohort and summer camp programs.

Summer camp programs are June, July and August every year. Summer camps lesson plans are aggressive due to the summer school hours. Summer camp programs introduce new lesson plans for outdoor activities. (ex. Drone Flight) Summer camp hours vary by training location.

Similar to the HYBRID curriculum. ONLINE PLAY is the premiere online training center located virtually in the cloud. ONLINE PLAY offer similar lesson plans to HYBRID on ground curriculum. ONLINE PLAY is a self-learning pace curriculum engineered for students who cannot meet 1 on 1. The concept help improve our reach by supplying a program for athletic students who engage in different after school programs.

Both HYBRID and ONLINE PLAY offer a robust education in computer training. The students learn from using professional software to design, manage, construct and machine learn new possibilities. With technology being supported by 3D Printers, Laser Scanners, drone flights, and virtual reality, possibilities are endless with the new age digital fabrication and manufacturing.

TITA Academy mission is to spear head attentive student into a technical direction and career opportunity. Use research and design to improve the curriculum, lesson plans, out reach, and professional development to keep TITA Academy a sustainable after school training program.

High School student video instruction curriculum.

High School Cohort Description

Watch Video for Introduction

Week 1 Students engage in the beginning training using professional architecture software. Software titles from Autodesk FormIt and Autodesk Revit are widely used.

Week 2 incorporate engineering learning. Software used is Autodesk Fusion 360 and Autodesk Revit to complete professional engineering tasks.

Week 3 detail out a robust project management plan to keep each student on task and on time to complete each lesson plan.

Week 4 Final class presentations display the amount of work completed in the 4 week program. A beginner step to building the first professional portfolio.

Student Grades 9-16

COHORT ESA3-5

Elementary School student video instruction curriculum.

Elementary Cohort Description

Watch Video for Introduction

Week 1 Starting with the basics in design encourages younger students to explore technical advancements. Tablet computers are used to complete the first design assignment. Professional software is used to introduce young students and engage them with progressive technology.

Week 2 introduces young students to professional design software. Professional software encourages young students to engage in 3D modeling and 3D printing.

Week 3 Students are encouraged to 3D print their design. Whether if the class is online or on ground. 3D printing is mandatory. Each on ground facility have 3D printing material. Ask your local training center for assistance.

Week 4

Final class presentation prepare young students to speak in front of peers. Present the final work from their lesson plans.

Student Grades 3-5

COHORT MSA5-9

Middle School student video instruction curriculum.

Middle School Cohort Description

Watch Video for Introduction

Week 1 Training efforts are scaled up to push the boundaries on learning the core principle of a career in technology. Week 1 introduce intermediate modeling using Autodesk FormIt. Architecture software used by professionals globally.

Week 2 Class has an emphasis on instructing students to understand architecture and engineering workflows.

Week 3 Start the beginning process to video game design. Video game design basics introduce the need for a high power computer, or notebook computer. Video game design and programming require powerful machines to produce quality work.

Week 4 Metaverse emphasis will allow the students to explore their design in virtual or augmented reality. Final presentations explore many future possibilities at a young age.
