Meet Mrs. Novak
I am very excited to be teaching your children this year! This is my 28th year teaching kindergarten at Presentation. I graduated in 1992 from Northeast Missouri State with my BS in English and in 1993 with a Masters in Elementary Education. I grew up in St. Louis and have lived in Kansas City for 30 years (and I still stink with directions).

My husband Bob and I have three girls, who have all attended Presentation. Maggie is a special education teacher in the Blue Springs district, Libby works for Lee's Summit Parks and Rec and Patti works for the Lee's Summit District. We are parishioners here at Our Lady of the Presentation.

It is a pleasure to be teaching these children in such a wonderful environment. I am very passionate about keeping your children excited about learning and becoming life-long learners. I am proud to work in a Catholic school and believe our Catholic faith is a part of everything we do, far beyond Religion class. I hope to teach your children that Jesus is their best friend, but that friendship comes with great responsibility, which we will put into practice every day. I look forward to working with you and your children.
