About the teacher

Hello!

My name is Courtney Anderson and I am one of the 4th grade teachers at Our Lady of Mercy School. I grew up in Smithfield, Rhode Island and graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education.

After graduating from PC I ventured to the Mid-West where I obtained my Master's Degree in Literacy Education from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. Before joining the OLM community I taught second grade at Our Lady of the Rosary in Dayton, Ohio and first grade at Holy Family Elementary School in Grand Blanc, Michigan.

I truly love teaching at such a wonderful Catholic School that is filled with such caring and supportive families!
