Cultural Performances

The OLMC Spanish Honor Society would like to thank all the performers that submitted a video for us to share with the community. We hope that everyone enjoys these cultural performances and learns a few new steps. We ask that you go to the performers Facebook/Instagram pages and follow them. We also challenge you to try some of their dances and when you do, don't forget to include our International Day hashtag #intlday20, tag their pages, and of course send videos/pictures to acallahan@olmcmd.org

OLMC Latino Dance

Our first performance is from our very own OLMC Latino Dancers. The Latino Dance group at Mount Carmel includes students from 9th grade-12th grade. They perform dances from Latin America such as merengue, salsa, and bachata. These students meet once a month during club days to practice their routine. Unfortunately, during the pandemic we can not meet in person but please enjoy a clip of their very first performance of the year. A lot of our performers this year are Seniors and we wish them the best of luck on their future endeavors. If you try any of these dances at home, or latino dancers if you teach your mom or dad these dances, please include #intlday20 or send the clips to acallahan@olmcmd.org.
