On Wednesday, my class did Technology. We watched a video on the year 4 web site and then went on Padlet.

The video was about digital citizens.I learnt that a digital citizen is a person who uses an a electronic device.

Padlet is an app is like a digital note pad. I used it for writing facts about digital citizens. This means that my class and I are all digital citizens!

I liked it.Thank you for planning this activity

Hi I'm talking to you about writing,

I love writing because I can write how I feel. I was able to write a netball report because I know a lot about netball so could achieve a great netball report that I was proud of. Writing is very fun, I love doing reports and stories. To make up a story and hearing other people's stories is interesting. I can get ideas from other people and learn from them. When I write I can express my ideas by writing because sometimes I get shy talking so I can express by writing.

Blog - Term 1, Week 3: Rosie

This term in Year 4 we have been using comic life

To make a report on the 4 school rules. On comic life we made a little comic theme strip and I, Rosie, did respect .

The 3rd school rule.

Thanks from Rosie

Blog - Term 1, Week 3: Natalia

In arts we were creating a comic strip about the school rules(on the iPad on comic life). It was really fun to do. We had to do one school rule or all of the school rules. I think making our own comic strip on the iPad on comic life was, a little hard but really fun.

Blog - Term 1, Week 3: XAVIER

My learning reflection is about one of our school rules. Using comic life I created a poster about respect. In the poster I used some pictures of people that I think are showing respect and some that aren't. Please see below.

Meet your teacher - Miss Kate Dunstan

(I'm the one in red!)

About me:

I'm 30 years old and have lived in Perth for just over 1 year. Before that I lived in Melbourne my whole life, apart from a year working at the London Olympics and travelling Europe.

I love:

The beach

Summer

Music (especially Australian independent artists)

Dancing (in particular ballet, tap and jazz)

Sport (I play netball and barrack for Collingwood)

Travel - seeing new places and doing new things!

At school I am really excited about:

Finding out what you love to read - I'm obsessed with Harry Potter!

Hearing about the sports you love - I'm really into AFL, MotoGP, netball and dancing

Getting you really into Genius Hour - it's one of my big passions!

Discovering the amazing ways we can use technology to help us learn.

Looking forward to what I know will be an awesome year!
