A story map is a strategy that uses a graphic organizer to help students learn the elements of a book or story. By identifying story characters, setting, problem and solution, students read /watch a story carefully to learn the details. Our learners watched the video on “Pattern Fish” and "Why does elephant have a trunk?" They did a story mapping based on the elements discussed in class.

K-W-L charts are graphic organizers that help students organize information before, during, and after a unit or a lesson. They can be used to engage students in a new topic, activate prior knowledge, share unit objectives, and monitor students' learning.

Our learners were introduced to the theme “Money”. The teacher used provocations to encourage students to share their prior knowledge of one of the most important things in life to survive, "Money" The learners were quite interactive and shared their understandings and knowledge about Money.

ENGLISH

An “S” blend is a combination of two consonants that has its individual sound. Our learners were introduced to the S family blends and were asked to listen to its initial and ending sounds and practice.

This educational activity builds phonological awareness and teaches children about using and hearing blends and reading with fluency and also spell correctly.
