As school approaches, here are some items to be aware of:
Please practice having your child buckle and unbuckle their carseat belts.
We will be eating lunch in the cafeteria. We are asking for parent volunteers to help with this endeavor. You can volunteer for one or up to five days from 12:00 - 1:00. Parents would be helping in the lunchroom as well as during outdoor recess. Please let me know if you would like to volunteer.
Volunteers must complete required background checks. These can be found here: https://qoaschool.org/volunteer-requirements **Your paperwork would be good for 5 years which means you would be eligible for any trips or school volunteer events with your child up to 4th grade.
On of the requirements is a class called "Protecting God's Children" this class is being held at St. David's on September 14th. This is a great opportunity since it is so close to home.
There is a Home and School Meet and Greet on August 24th at 6 pm at Masons Mill Park
Parent Orientation is on August 31st at 6pm beginning in the gym and continuing in our classroom.
PreK Visit Day is on September 1st - we are excited to welcome our boys at 9 am and our girls at 10 am. At this time, please bring the supplies from the supply list. The list can be found here: https://23028.sites.ecatholic.com/parents
Our First Day is on September 2nd - be sure your child has a backpack that will hold a folder and their lunchbox.
Please be sure to label all clothing and lunchboxes.
We will be creating a PreK 4 family tree so please send in a family picture with your child on the first week of school. We will share them with the class and introduce our family before hanging them on a giant tree in the hallway.
