Tuesday is Pancakes and Pajamas.  Please make sure your child is in LONG pant pajamas.  Also there is No After CARES on Thursday due to Reading Olympics.

     We are going to the zoo!!  The bus will be leaving at 8:30.  We are asking that all parents arrive to school by 8:15.  Children will enter school so that I may take attendance.  Parents are asked to wait outside.  We are asking for brown bag lunches only.  We do NOT have a selected place for lunch so you will be able to eat where and when you would like.  We are asking for everyone to meet at the gazelle fountain by the front entrance by 12:50.  The bus will  be leaving promptly at 1:15.  If you would like to pick up your other children when we get back to school please email me with their names and grades so that they can be ready to go.

     This week we will be working on the letter j and the sight words: said, that.  In math we will be discussing three-dimensional shapes.  We will continue our Jack and the Beanstalk theme this week.  In Religion we will be talking about the good works He did while He was alive.

     The homework sheet will be in the front of your child's folder.  It is also posted on this site under the homework tab.  

      Students should be reviewing their sight words every night.  You can create index cards with the words on them and put them on the refrigerator or on the steps going upstairs.  We use them to make sentences.  Make a game out of it and have fun!

IXL is an online engagement tool that we will be using in the classroom as well as for homework.  Your login information will be coming home tomorrow.  Please only do the assigned sections.
