Coaching Staff

Pastor Jared Butler serves as a Bible teach and Youth Pastor of Old Suwanee Baptist Church. His role in the athletic department of Old Suwanee Christian School is that of middle school and varsity girls basketball coach. Coach Butler led the varsity girls basketball team to a state championship in 2018 and his middle school team won the league title in 2020.

Coach English has coached the middle school boys basketball team for the past 5 years. Before coaching at Old Suwanee, Coach English coached at the NGBA for over 30 years. During his time at Old Suwanee, Coach English's teams won league championships in 2018 and 2019, and were league runners-up in 2016 and 2020.

Mr. Gillispie has served on the athletic staff since 2008. He currently serves as the school athletic director and is the varsity volleyball and cross-country head coach. His volleyball team won the 2017 varsity volleyball state championship, and he coached the 2016 varsity boys soccer state championship team. The varsity girls cross-country team has won 8 state championships and the varsity boys cross-country teams has won 6 state championships under his leadership. He currently serves on the GCAA athletic committee and is the director of GCAA middle school sports.

Mrs. Yeary serves as both the middle school volleyball coach and the K4 teacher at Old Suwanee Christian. Mrs. Yeary has served on the athletic staff for the past 4 years. Her teams captured the middle school league championship in both 2017 and 2020.
