Spring Drawing Contest!

This Spring we are doing a spring drawing contest! Since it's the end of the year, this season we are going to draw a beach scene. Everyone who wants to participate has to bring your drawing in by May 1st to the enrichment room. There will be 3 winners, the winner’s names will be in the June addition. It can be any kind of beach scene, think of your dream beach!

Use the four emojis above to create your own story. Your story must include these four topics: 🌺=flowers 🌧=rain 😀=happiness 🌳=trees. The most creative story will be published in the June edition. Please submit your story by May 17, 2024 to the enrichment room.

The beautiful songbird flew around high by the trees, and then finally decided to land. She sang a song of happiness, and many forest-dwelling animals joined in. All of a sudden, it started to rain. Everyone was rather disappointed and went back to their homes. But the next day, they were thankful because all the flowers had bloomed. Every bird, bear, rabbit, deer, mouse, and squirrel were happy and they danced and sang in the morning dew.
