Music for Life Course Information

During the 2023-24 school year, Music students will participate in classes which will include topics such as Music's Affect on Health, Emotions and Behavior, Music Psychology, Music Sociology, Music History more! 

This course is designed to make students better informed consumers of music!

 Performance opportunities will be implemented as possible.

Standards Based Grading Indicators

MASTERY: Student consistently and independently demonstrates in-depth understanding and proficiency of grade level standards without guidance from teachers and/or peers.

PROGRESSING: Student is progressing toward consistent and independent in-depth understanding proficiency of grade-level standards with limited guidance from teachers and/or peers.

EMERGING: Student is emerging toward the understanding and proficiency of grade level standards. Skill acquisition requires additional time and support with extensive guidance from teachers and/or peers.

NOT YET DEMONSTRATING: Student is not yet demonstrating understanding and proficiency of grade level standards and requires considerable support and guidance from teachers and/or peers.
