About the Teacher

Welcome! I am Ms. Denise McGuire, and I have been teaching at this site for over 20 years. I have been married for 38 years, and I have been blessed with two daughters and an amazing grandson. 

I am a graduate of West Chester University with a degree in Secondary Education. Both of my children attended Catholic elementary and secondary schools, and I am a firm believer in the process. I enjoy working with the students each year as we embark on a spiritual and academic journey. I look forward to meeting my new students every year, and I love seeing former students, so come back and visit!

Communication: I may be reached by note, email dmcguire@olaschool2.com, or a phone call to the main office.  I really check my email multiple times throughout the day.  I am available to meet with any parent before school (as early as 7:00AM or after school until 3:45PM ,but the meetings must be pre-arranged as there are days I will not be available. Please feel free to contact me at any time. Thank you.

Additional Help: I do not offer extra credit, but I am available before and after school  and during most lunch periods to assist any student who needs help.
