The Family Room
Family rooms are gathering spaces. A place in the home used for rest and relaxation. It’s a space used to unwind after a long day, a place where the whole family gathers, along with neighbors and friends. When you go to this room, where is God most present to you? Is God present to you in the time used to unwind? Or perhaps in the gatherings of family and friends? Maybe God is most present to you in the memories that the space and place hold? God is present to us always. Where and when and how we recognize God’s action in our lives differs from person to person, and it takes practice to see, hear and recognize God in our midst.
