Danielle Foster is the Bullying Prevention Coordinator for Oklahoma City Public Schools. With eight years of experience in education, she is now in her second year with OKCPS. Danielle began her career as a Science and Math teacher in a small rural school, where she developed a deep connection with her students and a strong commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment. She later transitioned to a School Counselor role in a large suburban district, where she gained firsthand experience in addressing the emotional and social challenges students face.
It was through these roles that Danielle discovered her passion for advocating for students’ well-being, realizing the critical importance of creating safe and inclusive spaces for all learners. This journey ultimately led her to specialize in bullying prevention, where she now works to empower schools with the tools they need to promote respect, empathy, and positive interactions.
Danielle always dreamed of being a teacher, which led her to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Oklahoma State University. She later went on to earn a Master's degree in School Counseling from the University of Central Oklahoma to deepen her impact on students' well-being. A lifelong learner, Danielle is currently working on a second Master’s degree, this time in Educational Leadership from Southeastern University, continuing her commitment to growth and leadership in education.
