Labeling Instrument Cases & Gear
Bag Tags: Use heavy-duty, personalized luggage or bag tags with your name, phone number, and school/band name.
White Permanent Marker: Place on hard cases so you can spot yours instantly in a crowded pile.
Label Maker + Clear Tape: Print your name using a label maker, stick it to the case or heavy plastic accessories, and cover it with clear packing tape to help prevent peel off.
Dremel Engraving: For metal items that will not be damaged by the dremel such as solid metal stands.
Color-Coded Families: Group storage bins and shelves by instrument family (e.g., blue for brass, green for woodwinds) using printable visual tags.
Picture Labels: Include a real photo or clear graphic of the instrument alongside bold text on storage shelves so students return items to the correct spot.
