Financial Aid Resources
FAFSA is NOW Open!
Graduation will be here before we know it, and we want to help you and your students get ready.
Did you know that, beginning this school year, all seniors must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to graduate from an Oklahoma public high school? This is a new graduation requirement set forth by the Oklahoma State Board of Education. The FAFSA helps eligible students obtain financial aid for two- or four-year college, technical school, or career training programs! Completing the application can be the first step in working toward your student’s post-graduation plans.
The FAFSA application for Class of 2026 graduates is now open. Funding is awarded on a first come, first served basis, so you’ll want to submit your application as soon as it becomes available. Check out this list of ways that you can start preparing before the application opens. Additional resources to the left can be accessed to help you and your scholar explore FAFSA requirements and other financial aid resources. Our OKCPS high schools hold regular support sessions where you can learn about the process and create your FSA ID in advance of the application opening. Our school counselors and GEAR UP staff can even help you complete the FAFSA application onsite. Check the Events Calendar on the Around Campus tab for upcoming FAFSA events or check with your School Counselor!
