Roosevelt Middle School
2026 OK School Counselor of the Year
2026 ASCA R.A.M.P. Recipient
Kailee Marshall is a school counselor at Roosevelt Middle School currently serving the 8th grade. Kailee has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Oklahoma City University and a Master’s degree in School Counseling as well as a graduate certificate in Professional Counseling from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has worked in education for the past seven years, with the last five being here in OKCPS at Roosevelt, as a teacher and then as a counselor. Kailee is passionate about school counseling, with a focus on college/career readiness and social emotional learning. She has had the pleasure of working with the same group of students (the class of 2030) since they were in fifth grade, and her favorite part has been building relationships with these kids and watching them grow each year (physically, academically, and emotionally!). To Kailee, one of the best parts of being a school counselor is getting to use data to work towards student outcomes, which has been the driving factor in her work with students. Being a part of the first middle school in Oklahoma to earn RAMP (Recognized ASCA Model Program) was a huge accomplishment for their school, of which Kailee is very proud.
