Check out my latest post on Affecting Teaching Culture Remotely!
We as Teachers need to find new ways to engage our Millenial or Gen Z students. Whether we like it or not life occurs differently for today's youth. So instead of being upset that they don't know what a phone booth is or that they can Uber instead of walking uphill both ways to school, we need to learn how to interact with these digital natives. Below is an amazing book that can really help us understand the realities of this digital generation. It is well worth the price since it contains valuable research, but is written in a way that does not require a PhD to understand!
Book by Balu H. Athreya and Chrystalla Mouza
"This important text synthesizes the state of knowledge related to thinking and technology and provides strategies for helping young people cultivate thinking skills required to navigate the new digital landscape."
