Aspire is a Registered Youth Apprenticeship program supported by the U.S. Department of Labor. The program is a structured, earn-and-learn career pathway that connects high school students with employers in high-demand industries. The program integrates rigorous classroom instruction with paid, on-the-job training, allowing students to gain industry-recognized credentials, and real-world experience while still in high school. Students will apply, interview, and be hired for various Department of Labor-approved apprenticeship programs.

Early Childhood Educator
Eagles Academy-Grain Valley
Description: Instruct students following curricula or lesson plans, in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth in the daycare setting.
RTI Classes: FACS, Child Development, Health, Speech, CIC Introduction to Teaching
*Not all classes are required to be eligible.
Description: Set up, operate, or tend spraying or rolling machines to coat or paint any of a wide variety of products including metal. On the job training provided.
RTI Classes: General Industrial Education, Metals, OSHA-10(not all courses are required)
Description: Raise, place, and unite iron or steel girders, columns, and other structural members to form completed structures or structural frameworks. May erect grain bins and assemble metal buildings.
RTI Classes: General Industrial Education, Metals, OSHA-10, CTC Construction Trades 1 & 2 (not all courses are required)

On track to graduate and passing all courses.
Complete the minimum required related instruction classes aligned with your selected CTE Apprenticeship Curriculum. Aspire Coordinator will review with apprentice.
