Education

Ogemaw County EMS Authority Education Department  exists to provide a setting where EMS providers are challenged to learn progressive treatment models, become advanced level clinicians, and in turn deliver quality care that exceeds patient expectations.

As we grow our footprint in delivering quality EMS education, we also look to educate our community and citizens to ensure that bystanders are empowered to deliver vital, lifesaving measures until EMS arrives at the scene.

"People will forget what you said, People will forget what you did, But people will never forget how you made them feel" ~Maya Angelou

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest accomplishment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”—Leo Buscaglia
