Bully Prevention: Unity Day

On 10.30.2019, Student Council hosted our first Bully Prevention Unity Day inspired by PACER. Our students had the chance to pledge to stop bullying and stand up for themselves and their peers to bring an end to bullying in our school.

Students who pledged on Monday and Tuesday, kept an eye out for student council members on Wednesday. Wearing their orange t-shirts to show unity, kids from K-4 and 5-8 had discussions about bullying in our schools, what we can do to stop it and how we can all make a difference. Student's pledged to support others who have been harmed or hurt, treat others with kindness, be more accepting of people's differences and help include those who are left out.
