Behavior

In 2nd grade we will use Class DoJo.  Students have the opportunity to earn  points depending on behavior.  You can also use the Class Dojo app.  Directions have been sent home. Please let me know if you need another sheet. Students can spend points on Friday to get prizes. I will also use behavior beans.  students begin the day with 5 beans.  They lose beans for shouting out or other unwanted behaviors.  At the end of they day they can earn a reward if they still have all 5 beans.  Consequences for losing all beans.  

• -  A slip will be sent home to be filled out and signed.

• -  Loss of 5 minutes of free time on Friday or 5 minutes of recess.

Each student will have a behavior tracker sheet to track negative behaviors.  Progression of consequences follows:

• Warnings (3)

• Classroom Consequence

• Parent Contact (phone)

• Recess Detention

• Morning Detention

• After School Detention

• Office Referral -Form

• In School Suspension

• Out of School Suspension
