This year, we're excited to introduce Bridges in Mathematics for first grade! It's designed to help your child really dive into math concepts, master important skills, and tackle complex problems. Our goal is to empower students to become confident math doers, knowers, and sense-makers.
In first grade, your little learners will explore fun themes like equivalence, building a number system, and composing and decomposing numbers. Bridges is packed with hands-on activities, games, and visual models that make math easier to grasp and so much fun! They'll get to develop their problem-solving skills and practice explaining their thought processes. Each day, they'll also enjoy "Number Corner" activities for additional practice.
You can support your child's learning at home by playing math games together, asking them about what they're discovering, and fostering a positive attitude towards math. And remember, making mistakes is a natural part of the learning journey! Let's celebrate those learning moments together!
