On Saturday November 29, 2025, we were so proud to be able to bring back our beloved Breakfast With Santa event to East Carling Public School. This wonderful community event brings together local vendors with our staff, students, families, and local residents to share a meal, celebrate the joys of the season, and get a picture with the head elf himself, Santa Claus.
We know this is an event that is cherished by our community, and hope to make it an annual event again moving forward.
On behalf of the East Carling Home & School Association, I want to send out a heartfelt Thank You to all of our families, vendors, donors, staff amazing volunteers, and of course, Santa, for an amazing Breakfast With Santa this year. We hope that everyone had a great time, some great food, and got to say hello to Santa before he had to head back to the North Pole.
Your continued support for East Carling Public School is what helps to make this such an amazing community.
We wish you all a safe, happy, and joyous holiday season with those near and dear to your heart's.

East Carling Home & School Association Launch
August 28, 2025
Today we are thrilled to announce the launch of the East Carling Home & School Association. With the support of the Administration at East Carling Public School, and under the umbrella of the Ontario Federation of Home and School Associations (OFHSA), we are bringing this new organization to the community so that we may better support the students and families of East Carling Public School. Home & School does not replace the important advocacy work that our School Council does, instead, it enhances it, and shifts much of the fundraising and community event responsibility to this new and dedicated group, allowing the Council to concentrate on their core mandate. This shift also empowers additional members of our community to join in our efforts, including legacy families of East Carling that were previously ineligible to fully participate in School Council activities due to the rules and regulations surrounding their organizational structure.
As with any new organization, we are looking for new members to join our efforts as we start out on this exciting new journey. There’s no experience required, and no set schedule either. Just a desire to make a difference, meet people who care, and an eye toward the future.
I know that we are also looking forward to working closely with the School Council to ensure that we can maximize the benefits and opportunities that both of our organizations are able to leverage for all of the students and families of East Carling Public School. And of course, we can’t wait to work alongside our dedicated staff, students, community members, and our amazing families to continually build a strong and prosperous school community together.
On behalf of the 2025/2026 East Carling Home & School Association Executive, we thank you generously for your support of East Carling Public School.
