East Carling Home & School Association was founded in August 2025 by members of a group of long standing dedicated school volunteers who after careful consideration and thoughtful contemplation decided to take the leap and bring a Home & School Association to East Carling.

With the ever restrictive regulations surrounding the activities of School Councils outside of their capacity as a mandated advisory body, it was decided that East Carling Volunteers needed to be able to once again empower our school community to maximize the benefits that we can bring to the school. Through our Membership in the Ontario Federation of Home and School Associations (OFHSA) we are able to be a part of greater province-wide initiatives, discussions and advocacy, open our membership beyond parents and guardians to individuals from the community who are passionate about enhancing the quality of our school, and to create events and fundraising opportunities that benefit more of our student body than ever before.
