Go to the Portal Learning Journey and review content and recordings in the Before You Begin Your Journey: Prepare Your Database section of the Learning Journey.
It is very important to understand your data as it relates to the new portal. This will help you complete the Data Integrity Checklist portion of the configuration survey (Step 4). Please go through each of the Actions to Take to ensure your database is ready to integrate with the new portal.
Complete the Portal Survey. Be sure to click Submit when finished. By completing this survey you are allowing us to complete steps for you and acknowledging that your practice is ready to proceed with the portal implementation. Without this survey, you will have to complete additional setup steps yourself. We want to do this for you! Please send it back as soon as possible to avoid delays. If you need the survey resent to you, please reach out to implementation@officepracticum.com.
Complete the Data Integrity Knowledge Check. This will be sent to you via email upon return of the Portal Configuration Survey.
As you prepare data to be shared on the portal with patients and families, and in keeping with the 21st Century Cures Act, you will want to make certain you have protected sensitive information from inadvertently being shared. Please review the content found on our Help Center on Identifying Sensitive Data.
Once we've started your portal implementation, it can take about a week to get the data from OP over to InteliChart. Delivery is dependent on how fast the data loads into our platforms and InteliChart, and how much data your practice has in the database. Larger practices may take a few weeks. After we have configured your portal, we will send you an email notification including the next steps.
If you have a former OP Patient Portal, please know that we will deliver your portal in PREVIEW MODE. This means you will have access to the portal, the practice's data, and most features. Only a few features will be disabled such as easy-button registration via OP Register, surveys and the IC Appointment Request Dept will not be visible in OP.
Preview mode was designed so as not to disrupt any functionality on your former OP Portal and give you and your staff the opportunity to go through the training and get prepared before you make the switch over to a live portal and begin registering patients.
If you have a former OP Patient Portal, please also know that once your new portal is delivered, someone will be reaching out to discuss the decommissioning your old OP portal. If you are using the former portal and CHADIS, you must shut down your old portal completely in order for CHAIDS to work properly.
