My name is Debbie Cohen and I live in Shelomi, Israel. I have been teaching English as a foreign language for the past 30 years. I work at Ofek School on Kibbutz Evron, Israel where I teach 7th grade to 12th grade. I prepared this site to try to help other teachers, first and foremost the excellent and professional English team at Ofek, but also for the entire world wide family of teachers, to help prepare with whatever is to come during the next school year and beyond.
I have been inspired by the one of a kind REED (Rural English Education Department) counselors and Lead Teachers, who got in gear the minute we had to work from home and began to set into motion a plan to prepare the English teachers for teaching in this totally new way.
I particularly want to thank Judie Segal, Melissa Weglein and Adele Raemer (AKA Tech Goddess) for tirelessly sharing their time, wisdom and knowledge and for guiding us through these uncertain times with a smile on their faces and an open heart.
I have gathered the knowledge of many many generous teachers who have shared their blogs, articles, research, experience and hard work. If I have not given credit properly, please point it out and I will gladly add credit where credit is due.
Good Luck and Good Health to all of us teachers on the front lines.
Debbie
