Connie is a clay artist and educator, who loves to have fun teaching. She was honored by the Wisconsin Art Education Association as the "Retired Art Educator of the year in 2019. She owns and operates the Fine Line Art Studio in Hortonville, Wisconsin. Today she will discuss facts about faces and create a personal face tile while applying and playing with clay. Let's face it everyone's face is fun!
Homemade Clay Face Tiles
Make ahead Recipe:
2 C flour
½ C salt
¾ C water
Mix into a smooth dough & make some faces!
* Bake for 35-50 minutes at 350*
Once cool, paint and decorate!
Supplies for project:
Any kind of clay; small water container with a little water; paint brush or toothbrush; an old plastic card, like a gift card or credit card for smoothing & cutting; a pencil, a fork and a toothpick
