3. Speak purposefully and effectively, as well as listen attentively and critically.
4. Engage in research and inquiry, and analyze, evaluate, integrate, and present information.

7. Evaluate and use technology, nonprint text, and audiovisual media.
Our coursework and practice with these skills will be guided by the essential questions for each of our units of study. This year, the majority of our work will be completed and submitted through google classroom. Lesson plans, assignments, and materials can be accessed through your class's google classroom page which you can find below.
I hope you’re all as excited as I am to begin. Let’s have a great year!
Sincerely,
Ms. Leddy
Winter Carnival "Twin Day" 2016 during my internship at Oxbow.
My name is Meg Leddy. This is my second year teaching at Oxbow High School, but I interned at Oxbow as a student teacher five years ago. I'm so pleased to be a member of this wonderful community once again!
I grew up in Strafford Vermont and graduated from Dartmouth College in 2012. Since graduation, I have worked designing ELA curriculum for New York City Public Schools and Chicago Public Schools, and have taught in public schools at home and private schools abroad.
In my free time, I like to hike with my lab-mix Louisa, read (of course!), and bake way too many muffins.
Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns as we work through the joys and challenges of this school year together. It truly takes a village, and I'm so proud to be a new member of this one.
