The mission of the Core Knowledge Foundation is to advance excellence and equity in education for all children.

Core Knowledge is used as our Language Arts curriculum, part of which uses social studies and science concepts to help students develop reading, writing, and listening skills. We will occasionally use resources from the Core Knowledge Sequence to teach social studies and science standards as well. Below are links to the Core Knowledge Sequence website and the Utah science and social studies standards for second grade, both of which are taught in class.
