CKLA

In our classroom, we use Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) to provide engaging, research-based reading instruction that meets the Utah Kindergarten Language Arts Standards. Grounded in the science of reading, CKLA helps students build strong foundational literacy skills while developing vocabulary, background knowledge, listening comprehension, speaking, and writing. Through rich stories, interactive lessons, meaningful discussions, and hands-on learning, students grow into confident readers, writers, and lifelong learners.
