Practitioner Award: This award recognizes BCBA, BCaBA, RBT, and BCBA-D practitioners in good standing with the BACB, who work directly with students in a Virginia school, contributing to the advancement of behavior analysis through practice, teaching, research, and service delivery.
2026 Winner: Amanda Steeley, Goochland County Public Schools
Humanitarian Award: This award recognizes BCBA, BCaBA, RBT, and BCBA-D practitioners in good standing with the BACB, that have demonstrated a commitment to all students in Virginia public schools and thus contributing to behavior analysis advancement.
2026 Winner: Amanda Cash, Radford University Training and Technical Assistance Center
Leadership Award: This award recognizes BCBA and BCBA-D practitioners in good standing with the BACB who work as a supervisor and/or trainer of other behavior analysts and school personnel to build capacity in Virginia schools.
2026 Winner: Carly Epling, Loudon County Public Schools
Friends of VAPSBAN Award: Virginia Association for Behavior Analysis: The Friend of VAPSBAN Award recognizes and expresses appreciation to those individuals (with or without a credential by the BACB) who have consistently provided extraordinary support in advancing behavior analysis in Virginia public schools.
