We are a motivated group of juniors and seniors pursuing degrees in Computer Science and Cybersecurity. Our experiences, regardless of whether they're inside the classroom collaborating with peers or outside the classroom fulfilling internship positions gaining real world experience, have allowed us to develop a skill set that aligns perfectly with coming up with an insightful solution to this problem!
As computer science and cybersecurity students, actions such as: acknowledging every little detail, fully comprehending a problem before attempting to start a solution, developing a plan of action, and maintaining effective oral and written communication have become a part of us which allowed us to be on the same page while devising a solution.
In a world where toddlers know how to use iPhones before learning to tie their shoes, it's safe to say that the use of technology is an important aspect in our lives! Why? Simply because it makes our lives easier! However, what if it in fact made life harder? Data breaches are extremely frustrating and can stir up a lot of anxiety, which allows people to associate technology with unapologetically negative feelings. With our group's combined love and appreciation of technology, we believe that no one, regardless of the situation, should learn to hate technology. Instead, we've come up with a way for people to use their technology in a safer way to spread our love and appreciation for it! As students who use laptops and phones on a daily basis, we either have or know of someone who has been affected from a data breach and are driven to help our peers learn to avoid the same mistakes again. With our group's combined knowledge, including professional certifications, work experience, and relevant school work, best believe WE are the people to solve this problem!
