1. What relevant experience and skills does our team have that support your story? 

The ClearShield Team has been studying the field of Cybersecurity for a few years now,  we understand that technology is continuing to grow and are being implemented into schools, workplaces, and everyday life. Throughout the college experience, we've learned how to recognize online risks and think about ways to prevent or mitigate them. 

The skills our team has include strong communication,  problem solving, and teamwork, which has helped us create an easy to use product for people of all ages. We are also good in understanding what users need and keeping everything simple, so everyone will feel safe and secure when navigating the online world.

2. Why us, and what stood out to us most about this process?

We believe we are a strong team for this because we've grown up around technology, and we understand the importance of making it safe and easy to use. What stood out to use most during the process was how most struggle to understand and recognize online risks, especially across different age groups. This revealed to us that ensuring users are staying safe online isn't just about technology, it's about making things simple and easy to understand.

3. What binds us together as people and as entrepreneurs and/or innovators to fix this problem? 

What binds us together is that navigating the online world should be simple, accessible, and understandable for a diverse group of people. As entrepreneurs, we are heavily motivated by the opportunity to create a security plug-in so that technology will empower the users and not confuse them. Together, we are committed to creating a solution that will make staying safe online easier for everyday people. 

4. What’s special about the character of our team that will make us stand out and be memorable?

What makes our team special is that we are combining our technical knowledge with a focus on user experience. We aren't just thinking about how something works; we are thinking about how people will understand and use it. This balance will allow us to create a solution that will be impactful and effective.
