Google Tool of the Day: This session will be offered daily throughout the week. Particpants will explore how tech, specifically Google, can support and enhance teaching and learning.
Elements of Effective Instruction: Through reflecting on elements of effective instruction, participants will consider ways that attention to these elements can help teachers reach all learners. Participants will leave with a set of strategies to enhance their own practice, as well as focus professional learning group work.

PLPs, IEPs & Meeting PBGRs with the VT AOE's John Spinney: This session will focus on how proficiency-based learning and individualized education intersect. The session will provide an overview and question and answer portion.
What's In a Portfolio? Providing students the opportunity to demonstrate their learning progress and achievement is the cornerstone of the district’s approach to proficiency-based education, promotion, and graduation. All students are expected to demonstrate achievement of the knowledge, skills, and work habits articulated in the content-area standards. This session will look at different exemplars for considering how OCSU moves forward with personalized learning and portfolios.
Book Club Sessions & Roundtables : Participants will take a deeper dive into texts in order to reflect on work discussed this year as it inspires ideas for curriculum planning and problem-solving.

Providing Feedback- Austin’s Butterfly:
This session will look at the power of providing formative feedback for the purpose of improving learning towards desired outcomes. This includes how peers can provide constructive feedback in the learning process.
