Community Summit - January 19, 2023

A Community summit was held on January 19th to discuss the Strategic Planning process, gather input, and detail the next steps.  If you were unable to attend, a recording is available below.  We also encourage you to fill out the strategic planning feedback form, which includes an application for the Planning Committee and Action Teams.

Committee Selection 

After the Community Summit, a Strategic Planning Committee consisting of community members, OCPS staff, and students was formed to begin the work in Phase 2.

Phase 2 involves the work of a Strategic Planning Team and Action Teams:

• The first Strategic Planning Team meetings were held on February 15, 16, and 17, 2023.

• Action Teams will be developed to address focus areas (February - April)

• Second Strategic Planning Team Meeting (Early May)

• Superintendent will present Strategic Plan to School Board for approval

• Implementation of School Board approved Strategic Plan

• Monitoring of implementation progress throughout the year

• Strategic Plan Team review
