๐ Students can check out a maximum of two books for 2 weeks at a time (not including required books for class projects)
๐ Staff has unlimited checkouts for classroom use
๐ All materials can be renewed unless the material is on hold for another patron
๐ Students with overdue materials are not permitted to check out additional items until items are returned
๐ Payment must be made for any books that are lost or damaged
๐ No refunds for found materials after the school year endsโ
๐ Overdue notices will be distributed through your content classes
๐ Please be respectful of other students and staff using the Library
๐ When not with a class, please give the librarian a pass during class blocks from your designated teacher
๐ Then, please sign into the Library using the Google Form (please note that a maximum of four students from the same class will be allowed without a teacher)
๐ You are responsible for your own personal items
๐ Computers are for school work only
๐ Covered drinks and/or water are allowed, but not near the computers
๐ All other applicable school rules will be in effect in the Library
The school library shall provide print and non-print materials that will:
๐ Support and enrich the school curriculum
๐ Select for a balanced perspective of culture, history, and contributions from diverse people and groups
๐ Be accessible to all users at all reading levels (including students with low and high Lexile levels)
๐ To encourage recreational reading across literary genresย
๐ Provide a means for students to choose books for their own library collection (Book Fairs and Reading Programs)
๐ Include a variety of interests, abilities, learning needs, and maturity levels
๐ Provide reading materials designated as Young Adult (YA) reading level
๐ฑDevices may not be used to disrupt the educational environment or violate the rights of others, including, but not limited to audio, video, and image recording
๐ฑYou are responsible for your own personal items

โ๏ธ The School Board provides a computer system, including the internet, to promote educational excellence by facilitating resource sharing, innovation and communicationย
โ๏ธ The term computer system includes hardware, software, data, communication lines and devices, terminals, printers, CD-ROM devices, tape drives, servers, mainframe and personal computers, the internet and other internal or external networks

๐ป Users are responsible for their own individual accounts and must keep passwords strictly confidential
๐ป Users are prohibited from sharing accounts and passwords
๐ป Any violations that can be traced to an individual account name will be treated as the responsibility of the account owner
๐ป Users must log off all systems before leaving a computer or workstation or allowing others to use it
