Overview

In this survey of World History, students will study topics such as the following:

• Early Civilizations: Paleolithic, Neolithic, Egypt, India, Mesopotamia and the Fertile Crescent, Hebrew Kingdoms, China.
• Ancient/Classical Empires: Ancient and Classical Greece, Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire.
• A Changing World: Renaissance and Reformation, Scientific Revolution, Age of Exploration.
• Age of Revolutionary Change: Monarchy to Revolution, Industry and Empire, Imperialism.
