1. It is a separate page at the end of your paper.
2. Center the title and capitalize Works Cited.
3. Use 12 pt. Times New Roman font.
4. Put the sources in alphabetical order according to the first important word of each entry. Do not use the
words “a,” “an” or “the” or any small unimportant words to alphabetize.
5. Double space the whole page. In Google Docs, click: Format - Line spacing – Double.
6. The first line of each entry is NOT indented, but the 2nd and all the following lines for each
entry are indented, this is called a hanging indent. To create a hanging indent in Google Docs: Highlight all your works cited entries:
Click: Format – Align & Indent – Indentation Options – Special – Hanging - Apply
