Le 3 octobre, 2018Today we played a kahoot to review the parts of a microscope and the steps required to handle a microscope. Students began an in class assessment on their knowledge and understanding of how microscopes.

Le 9 octobre, 2018Today students were peer evaluated by their partners to see if they knew the parts and functions of the microscope and how to use a microscope properly. Next class will be the lab which will be assessed (I have attached the lab and rubric here).

Le 18 octobre, 2018Today we started with a quick physical activity where students acted like particles conducting diffusion. Students then watched a live lab of diffusion and wrote a mini lab report ( will attach a link to a video that shows what I did). Finally, we learned a little more about diffusion, students are to complete the questions on the handout for next class.

le 23 novembre, 2018Today we took up the organization handout and I briefly describe what mitosis is and how cancer cells occur. We had a discussion and then watched a video that describes the process further. They were also given a handout that we will take up next class.
