ERABUS AND THE FALL OF SPARROWS
Erabus and the Fall of Sparrows is a student-devised play, sharing an authentic story meaningful to youth across the nation. Under the guidance of John Walcutt, a veteran actor and director of the El-Erian Family Acting Conservatory at the Orange County School of the Arts, more than 30 students and faculty spent two summers developing a play covering issues important to the youth – landing on the poignant subjects of gun violence in schools, isolation and teen suicide.
Erabus hopes to bring light to these overlooked problems, provide emotional support resources for teens, and destigmatize conversations about mental health.
