This year has been so rewarding for our GirlsCode team this year. Compared to past years, we have managed to expand our scope for computer science education at our workshops more than ever. We were able to explore a variety of disciplines that cater to all of our GirlsBuild students. In addition, we managed to recruit more officers this year and see more students enrolled in the computer science curriculum at North Oconee High School. Now that we have invested in new technology like new robotics equipment, we hope we can prepare a more extensive curriculum for our students. We are planning to partner with many local Girl Scouts troops to help them get their STEM badges and expand our outreach. We are so excited for this summer and the next session!

We held our workshops online via Zoom for our COVID session! We tried to equip our girls with as many resources as possible.
