Asylum Seeker Enrollment and Immunizations

This memo provides important information regarding the obligation of schools and districts to enroll students, including refugees or asylum seekers, pending receipt of their health records and to assist them in obtaining all necessary immunizations within the applicable time frame.

Please be advised that due to an inaccuracy in the Scoring Key for the August 2023 Regents Examination in English Language Arts, an updated Multiple-choice  Question Scoring Key was posted at approximately  1:00 p.m. on August 16, 2023.

 

The updated  Multiple-choice Question Scoring Key is available at https://www.nysed.gov/state-assessment/august-2023-regents-examination-scoring-information

 

If your school downloaded the Scoring Key for this examination prior to 1:00 p.m. on August 16th, please discard it and replace it with the Updated Scoring Key. The updated version has “Updated, 1:00 p.m., August 16, 2023” in red text at the top of the page.
