Hi Seahawks, my name is Ms. Cardenas. My pronouns are she/her/hers.
My job as a school counselor is to listen to you; whether you have something going on at home or school, I am here for you. I support students by meeting with them individually, in groups, conflict resolution strategies, and referring them for help outside of school when needed. I also organize the Peer Counseling class on campus. Peer Counseling is a class where you get the opportunity to help in a classroom, office, library, or preschool.
You can request to see me by filling out a Request to See a School Counselor Form. I look forward to working with you!
I was born in Guanajuato, Mexico. When I was 3 months old, my parents decided to move to the United States. I am fully bilingual. I am very proud to speak Spanish and English. In the future, I would like to learn more languages!
During my free time I like to run, read, exercise, eat yummy food, spend time with my son and husband, and watch Dodgers and Cowboys games. Two of my favorite foods are ramen and tamales.
During my time off from school, I like to visit new places with my family.
